My name is Joel E. Trejo, founder of Soul & Home Care.
I am a professional Chef, graduated from the University El Claustro de Sor Juana one of the renowned culinary institutes in Mexico and worked in the restaurant industry for a long time, always in management positions.
In 2019 I started working as a private Chef in a luxury house in the West Vancouver area. My main activities were cooking, grocery shopping and driving my boss to his appointments (most of them were medical since he was battling cancer), I soon realized that besides the good food I could release my bosses stress by taking on the house management. At first I gathered all the contact information from the contractors, tech company, security company, landscaping, irrigation system, powerwashing, etc. and I would take care of schedule and supervise their services.
As I was doing this I also realized that we were paying a lot for some jobs that I can actually handle or learn myself, for example we used to get the landscaping company up to six times around the year so instead I will get the company only once and maintain all the areas he had worked on myself. The combination of managing the house and taking on all the different jobs that I could do myself, resulted in a big decrease in my bosses stress and also house expenses.The idea of Soul & Home Care is to have trustworthy staff using time wisely in order to take care of yourself, your family, and your property according to your day to day needs.
